Regarding the State Flag Referendum
March 3 - 10:00 am - State Capitol Steps
The Southern Heritage Political Action Committee along with other Southern Heritage organizations have reserved the steps of the State Capitol at 10:00 am on March 3rd to discuss the results of the State Flag advisory referendum.
As reported by the Atlanta newspapers on May 8, 2003, a compromise on the State budget and the State Flag between special interest groups and politically correct politicians deliberately rigged the March 2 referendum to exclude the 1956 Georgia Flag.
Since the results of the March 2nd referendum will exclude the choice of a majority of Georgians, the results will be meaningless.
We will discuss the results of the advisory referendum along with our plans for future political activities – including targeted politicians.
