Believe it or not, 78 "New South" Georgia Representatives voted in 2002 to engross a bill (HB 899, introduced by Tyrone Brooks of Atlanta) to ban all Confederate flags, symbols and monuments from all Georgia owned property.

Yes, that would include the CARVING ON STONE MOUNTAIN.

The New South Crowd, which consists of so-called black leaders, Atlanta Chamber of Commerce millionaires, and a helpful liberal media, is pushing to destroy all Southern Heritage and any of our history which occurred before the Civil Rights Movement.

SHPAC WAS ORGANIZED TO FIGHT THEIR ATTACKS.

After Governor Roy Barnes (King Roy) betrayed the citizens of this State by pushing his rag of a flag down their throats, a small group of Southern activists with only a few thousand dollars helped to dethrone the King and replace him with a governor (Sonny Perdue) who promised to give the people of this State a vote to decide which flag was to represent them. He expressly promised that the flag that King Roy stole would be one of the choices.

Unfortunately, Governor Perdue did not lived up to that promise.  He pushed another flag on the people.

The Song and the word “Dixie”and the word “Confederate” have now become Politically Incorrect. Children are being forbidden to wear or display any symbols that show Southern pride. The NAACP is forcing the closing of businesses that sell Southern pride clothing. ON & ON & ON . . .
